Exploring the Path to Becoming an Animal Communicator
Before we get started, let’s be clear on our terminology: Animal communication or “telepathic animal communication” refers to psychic connection with animals such as pets and livestock. An animal communicator connects psychically with animal spirits rather than simply observing behavior – they receive information directly from them rather than just what can be seen on the outside. Plus, because this connection happens via psychic means, even animals located halfway across the globe can still connect.
But how is this even possible? Animals have an innate intuition which many refer to as their sixth sense, or intuition, that helps them navigate their environment and communicate with us (if we listen). They use this intuitive information both for survival purposes as well as communication purposes if we listen closely enough.
Humans, like animals, are born intuitive. Unfortunately, due to culture and belief systems, most of us have blocked off our intuition by the age of five – meaning our animals could be communicating psychically with us but we’re missing the signs because our intuition is off-balance.
No matter the length of time that psychic senses have been subdued, anyone can use their intuition to revive this latent skill.

How to Develop Animal Communication Skills
Thinking of becoming an animal communicator may leave you feeling confused; with so many methods available for attaining this goal. No single approach fits for every individual.
My suggestion would be that you begin by exploring your feelings towards animals. Many animal enthusiasts desire animal communication skills but fear becoming overwhelmed when opening intuitively to animals. Don’t worry though; when studying with an attentive teacher, techniques to manage this situation will also be part of their curriculum.
As part of your preparation to learn animal communication, integrating meditation or other grounding techniques such as yoga into your daily life may be helpful in setting you up for animal psychic connections. If you want to test your abilities at animal communication before officially learning it, starting off by communicating with non-owned animals will make success more likely. Knowing information about each one makes it more difficult to trust intuitive insights that come through – you might think, “But I already knew about that!”
How to Become an Animal Communicator: Educational Pathways and Training
There are numerous books out there on animal communication. My experience, however, has shown me that learning animal communication involves more than memorizing steps; to truly succeed at psychic connection with animals it requires taking several key steps:
Understanding the intuitive relationship between humans and their pets (you can read more about this in my Animal Lessons book)
and practicing is crucial – providing a safe space to practice will provide confirmation from similar-minded people that what information from the animal you’re receiving matches what the other people are telling you (this way).
Make sure to share your experiences with trusted individuals (often family and friends can perceive this journey as crazy); but being around open-minded people who accept you will help speed up the opening of animal psychic senses.
