Soul Contracts with Animals Are Misunderstood
My work as an animal communicator frequently has me being asked about animals who experience abuse, pain and abandonment. Answering such inquiries can be challenging because what I know about animal suffering comes directly from animals themselves – yet the answer may not always match up to expectations. Given all the suffering in the world today, now is an opportune time to highlight how soul contracts between soul contracts with animals and animal suffering are related.
Beginning With Two Intuitive Planes
Let’s first gain an understanding of how animal souls work. There are two major levels of intuitive functioning which allow animals to live, breathe, and function – these being:
Physical Level
Animals experience pain, cold temperatures and heat environments as they feel discomfort from exposure to heat or cold. Emotions arise, needs are met and lovers poop and pee. Most animal communicators focus on helping people understand the physical needs of pets – although this level is important, it only tells part of the story.
At this Spiritual or Soul Level, animals are able to gain insight into the big picture. Animals become aware of their animal soul contracts with individual humans (which you can read more about in my Animal Lessons book), and the entire human race at large. Their larger purpose on Earth is helping humans master unconditional love, by showing that they possess it themselves. Although less understood, this level provides animals with invaluable guidance, assistance and insights – including helping put suffering into perspective for humans.
At the Physical Level, many animals suffer and are mistreated or abused. Animals experience all of the challenges of survival: getting lost, sick and separated from their packs are among them; therefore if you’re reading this then chances are that you want to alleviate that suffering when you see an animal in distress.
Remind yourself there are two tiers!
Spiritually speaking, animals understand their pain and suffering is for a greater good; this concept applies to insects, birds, animals, and fish alike; all are aware that their role is helping us master unconditional love – although for sensitive individuals this can often be very challenging to witness.
Here are a few ways that animals use Animal Soul Contracts to assist human beings in reaching their fullest potential.
Animals Are Sacrificing Although sacrifice may be difficult to comprehend, it’s happening every day. Animals are making huge sacrifices on our behalf by placing themselves into physically and emotionally difficult situations in order to help humanity evolve – more specifically our hearts than minds – which in turn allows for change – evolution that alleviates animal and human suffering alike – this is how animals help – by inspiring us all to become the best version of ourselves possible!

Animals Can Inspire Us
Sometimes animals provide us with inspiration to grow and expand. From positive animal soul contracts (which bring positive feelings) or negative soul contracts (causing pain or distress), animals provide us with something new in ourselves that needs nurturing. Cecil the Lion died an unspeakably cruel death that galvanized people around the world to take action against canned hunting. Who Will Survive? On a physical level, many animals depend on us for survival as our presence has taken over this planet. Yet through human animal soul contracts, animals incarnate to assist us while often bearing tremendous physical pain for us to bear.
What You Can Do
Understanding animal soul contracts and why animals suffer doesn’t mean I don’t feel for animals who are suffering – in fact, my heart breaks for any suffering animal as much as yours does. However, this doesn’t stop me from appreciating when I see two animals living together as best buddies – especially dogs and deers – I allow myself to soak in that momentous friendship and feel deeply grateful to every animal out there that helps us in some way. As much as I can, I still help all animals – birds and insects alike. Even when my help can’t reach them all directly, I take comfort knowing that anything I do to assist or express gratitude towards animals contributes to a greater good – helping humans learn unconditional love for one another.
