Losing Your Pet | Animal Communicator, Teacher and Psychic Losing a beloved pet can be heart-rendering experience that leaves us searching for answers. One of the most frequently asked questions from pet owners is “Why did my pet die NOW?” As an animal communicator, teacher, and psychic with over two decades of experience I can shed some light on this challenging topic by providing three key insights that may help explain why your beloved companion passed on at that particular time. Let’s dive in!
Your pet’s purpose in your life is no mere coincidence
Animals come into our lives for a reason and act as extraordinary teachers on our spiritual paths. Just as humans need lessons taught them from animals, so too do animal companions have their own roles to fulfill in helping us learn self-belief, self-worth, feeling loved and deservingness, etc. When the lesson you needed from your pet has been successfully learned they may decide that their job is done and move on, marking progress rather than failure for us all to learn something valuable ourselves. Their departure doesn’t indicate failure in learning anything; rather, rather, its completion and growth!
Plan Your Pet’s Death and Dying
Although it may be hard to fathom, our pets actually plan their death spiritually. They choose when and how they will cross over, along with who will be present during this transition period. Although we may do everything possible to halt their departure with medical interventions and constant monitoring, their plan will unfold as intended. Even if you feel responsible for not recognizing signs of illness in time or for an unfortunate accident, it is crucial to realize that your pet’s passing was predetermined and part of its journey. While you may still find it hard to accept “Why did my pet die now?,” understanding their journey was dictated by higher powers is helpful in understanding why it happened now.
Dying Pet Lesson Purpose
While accepting that our beloved pets may die is never easy, its death offers tremendous opportunity for personal growth. Your pet’s passing presents us with an opportunity to grow spiritually and personally – their passing could even be intentional so as to provide us with opportunities that help us learn important lessons that could change our lives in ways you never anticipated. It may be painful at times to see any meaning in their passing away but find meaning by reflecting upon how it could make the bond even stronger between the two of you while making their transition a little smoother for all involved parties involved. By finding meaning in their departure you honor both bond you shared and make their transition just a bit smoother for both parties involved – while honoring both parties involved by finding meaning you honor both parties involved and make their transition a little smoother for both parties involved!
Losing a pet can be an emotionally wrenching journey filled with grief, confusion and longing. But it is important to recognize there may be deeper spiritual significance behind their passing – by understanding their purpose in your life, acknowledging their plans for crossing over, and accepting any lessons they wished to impart, you may find solace and meaning in their passing. Your beloved companion’s love and lessons will continue to guide your soul journey for decades after they’ve gone.

Hello, my name is Danielle MacKinnon and I have over twenty years of experience as an animal communicator/pet psychic. At my online animal communication school I teach people how to connect intuitively with their pets while I also run a community for animal lovers who share this interest.
Today we will address a common concern among pet parents about why their animal must leave us so soon after birth: why did my pet need to die?”. Specifically, we’re considering why their death came so soon after their birth.
Please allow me to give you an example of the question I’m answering today so you can better grasp where we’re heading. Here is my question: “Hello, My best friend was recently hit by a car when he was two years old – could someone help me understand why this happened? Please advise.”
