There are so many books, websites, and trainers offering advice to keep dogs off couches; yet your pup still keeps landing there?

What Many Experts FAIL to Recognize Too often, experts fail to recognize that there may be an important yet overlooked element influencing their situation!

Animal Communicators, also known as pet psychics, often work with frustrated people who have tried everything to keep their dogs off of the couch but remain unsuccessful in doing so. Unfortunately, they’ve missed something critical that may be influencing this situation!

Animals Are Sensitive, Not Stubben
To survive in nature, animals use their intuition to detect danger or protect their young or find food. As we introduce these creatures into our human environment, their intuition helps them navigate it as well.

Respecting the sensitivities of animals (dogs in particular!) makes us better equipped to achieve the results and relationships we seek with them. You don’t need psychic abilities to honor your pet’s sensitivity – simply learn how to work with it! Let’s learn now, how intuition can keep dogs off couches!

Try These Three Intuitive Steps for How to Keep Dog Off Couch
There are three essential things you can do that will help your dog understand the couch better. I have used and proven these strategies over my many years as a pet psychic – I am delighted to share them with you! For more information about how animals communicate psychically click here.

Send Signals That Make Sense
Animals work with psychic images all of the time, whether we realize it or not. Dogs respond to our words not just through words (ie when we say, “Get off the couch”) but also images – therefore it is essential that your mental picture of what you want your dog to do matches what’s being spoken aloud – many don’t realize this until later, when their actions contradict what’s said aloud; without proper alignment between what was spoken aloud and visualizing (ie when someone tells them off for thinking pink elephants), their instinctive reaction would likely cause confusion and results in bad behaviour from both sides! For instance if someone told them not to think about pink elephants immediately they might become fixated upon thoughts of pink elephants which might cause distress!

Animals are no different; when we say, “Get off the sofa!,” what comes into mind? You are sending mixed signals without even realizing it! To remedy this situation, change what you are saying by offering complementary messages such as, “Go lay down on your bed.” This will send out positive reinforcement messages which make sense and lead to better results in how to keep dogs off couches!

Dogs (and all animals) are drawn to energy that makes them feel good, and enjoy when their humans feel happy. Therefore, they will always strive to spend time where there was positive energy present with their human. When allowed onto the couch only on special occasions, your dog will want to revisit that “special occasion” energy as often as possible. Dogs don’t care about special events – they care about what feels safe, secure and good to them. Your special occasion for you may only create anxiety for your dog – and make him crave more of that feeling-good energy. To counteract this problem, stop cheating! Spend more time with him elsewhere in the home where his presence is permitted so he can feel secure without looking for that feeling in you or elsewhere in your house. Creating feelings-of-joy energy there will help him stop seeking it in you!

Animals Are Open to Sending Out Their Message Even When You Aren’t at Home
Our animals receive psychic connection whenever we speak to them, although that connection doesn’t just stop at physical proximity. By reading this blog post and considering that psychic abilities exist, you’re probably opening up the idea that psychic energy exists from one place to the next – no doubt this applies equally well with animals who possess psychic powers as well! Your dog could connect to you while at work, the grocery store, and more places throughout their day!

Try this out: Imagine that you’re at work and notice that your pup spends much of the day lounging around on the sofa staring out the window, instead of driving home just to make him move off it, you could send a long distance message through your energy to make him get off by thinking about him playing with his favorite ball or petting him and giving the right commands (for instance: saying something like “Max, go lay down in the living room”. Just make sure that all steps from Tip #1 are followed to avoid sending mixed messages!

As You Consider How to Keep Dog Off Couch
With that being said – there is an entire new world open up when it comes to communicating and connecting with your pup that can help keep him off your couch! When you begin paying attention to his unique sensitivities – training, loving, connecting, and being together all start making much more sense!
